GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Palisade Plunge is a newly developed bike path that runs from up on the Grand Mesa all the way down to the city of Palisade. It’s 33 miles lengthy with a 5,000-foot descent under the trailhead.
Powderhorn Mountain Resort introduced their new shuttle service to assist those that plan on heading up on the Grand Mesa to journey the Plunge.
The primary 11.8 miles of the Palisade Plunge runs from the Mesa High Trailhead to the Shirttail Level parking zone. It’s an intermediate part of the path. After Shirttail Level, the terrain turns into harder.
The shuttle service has a trailer that may assist these hauling bikes. The service known as the Powderhorn Plunge Service.
The shuttle service can take folks from the city of Palisade and Powderhorn up on the Grand Mesa. In Palisade, the pick-up/drop-off level can be between Most important Road and Kluge Avenue.
