Safety officers on Saturday detected a robust Improvised Explosive System (IED) in Jammu and Kashmir’s border district of Rajouri. The IED was discovered planted by suspected terrorists underneath a culvert at Bathooni-Dilogra on Jammu-Rajouri nationwide freeway and was subsequently defused by the bomb disposal squad of the military.
The site visitors on the highway remained suspended for over three hours after the detection of the IED. Not too long ago, the Jammu and Kashmir Police had shot down a drone carrying explosive materials over the Kanachak space of Akhnoor sector.
