WISE RIVER — Two drones flying within the space of the Alder Creek Fire briefly delayed airborne response to the wildfire burning close to Sensible River on Sunday.
Fireplace officers are reminding residents that there are flight restrictions over the Alder Creek Fireplace, which is reported at 5,670 acres and has no containment as of Monday, in line with the Southern Space Incident Administration Blue Staff.
Helicopters dropping water on the fireplace can’t fly if there are drones or different plane within the space of the fireplace.
Delays pose a menace to firefighters on the bottom, residents, and property, in line with fireplace officers.
The fireplace grew about 1,500 since Sunday and is transferring in direction of Freeway 43 and the Pioneer Scenic Byway.
